Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time position. The role is 100% onsite.

The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures that products, materials, and processes meet Wistron's quality standards and customer requirements. This role is responsible for monitoring quality throughout the production process, analyzing performance metrics, and driving corrective actions to resolve issues. The QA Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee quality control stages in production and monitor daily First Pass Yield (FPY).
  • Ensure all manufacturing steps comply with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Partner with QC inspectors to maintain effective inspection processes aligned with standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address defects and improve overall quality performance.
  • Analyze data, lead team meetings, and develop solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Track yield rates, identify trends, and implement corrective actions across manufacturing sites.
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and ensure timely resolution to maintain satisfaction.
  • Monitor KPIs for quality, efficiency, and productivity, working toward defined goals.
  • Work with design teams to ensure product designs are compatible with manufacturing processes.
  • Manage and close 8D corrective actions.
  • Lead and update PFMEA and PMP reports.
  • Support QC functions as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in product engineering, including design, development, testing, and manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role managing engineers or technicians.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Proficiency in Minitab and quality management tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Other Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to drive quality initiatives.
  • Project management experience with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CQE certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with SMT/FA manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
